Methodology

Under Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/1669, smartphones and slate tablets placed on the EU market from 20 June 2025 must have an energy label and a product information sheet registered in the EPREL database. The label shows a repairability class from A (best) to E. The class is based on a repairability index from 0 to 5, made of six scores: disassembly depth, fasteners, tools, spare-part availability, software update period and repair information.

Rules

• Each value links to its source and shows the retrieval date.
• Label values come only from the EPREL product information sheet for the EU model number.
• Spare-part prices will come only from the manufacturer's own EU parts store or self-repair programme.
• Values not checked against an official source are marked not verified. Nothing is estimated.
• Repair prices are not published yet.
